Privacy Policy

Lunami is a dating app (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app collects, why, who sees it, how long we keep it and how you can delete it. Lunami is only for adults aged 18 and over.
What we collect

We do not collect your phone number, contacts or payment details.
Web pages inside the app
Lunami can open partner web pages inside the app. Those pages are run by their own operators, may ask for camera, photo or location access, and may collect data under their own privacy policies. Permissions are only requested when such a page asks for them, and you can refuse.
Who we share it with
- Other Lunami users — your profile: name, age, city, bio, interests, photos and an approximate distance. Messages are visible only to the person you are talking to.
- AppsFlyer — mobile attribution. Receives the device and attribution data listed above.
- OneSignal and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — deliver push notifications. They receive your push token and the notification content.
- Marketing partners — when the app opens a partner page, identifiers appended to that link (device identifier, country, campaign and traffic source) reach the partner that serves the page.
- Amazon Web Services — hosting, database and photo storage in the EU (Frankfurt) region.
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your account until you delete it. When you delete your account, your profile, photos, likes, matches and messages are deleted. Messages you sent also disappear from the other person’s conversation. Technical records about the app’s decisions are kept for analytics, but they are stripped of any link to your account at the moment of deletion. App event records are kept for analytics and are tied only to the app-generated device identifier, not to your account. Server logs are kept for 7 days.
When you report or block someone, we keep a record of it (who reported whom, the reason, and the conversation between you two) so that moderators can review it, and we keep it as evidence even after the match is hidden from both of you. Blocking is mutual: neither of you sees the other in the app. Reports are reviewed by our team and are not shown to the person you reported.
Your choices and rights
- Edit your profile at any time in the app under Profile.
- Turn off location in Android settings. The app keeps working; distances are no longer shown.
- Delete your account in the app under Profile → Delete account, or follow these steps if you no longer have the app.
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings.
- If you are in the EU, UK or a similar jurisdiction, you can ask us to access, correct, export or restrict the processing of your data, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. Write to privacy@lunami.world.
Legal bases (EU/UK)
We process your account, profile, location, activity and messages to provide the service you asked for (contract). We process device, attribution and usage data for our legitimate interest in running, securing and measuring the app. Where the law requires consent — for example, location access or notifications — we ask for it, and you can withdraw it at any time in Android settings.
Security
All traffic runs over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, and repeated failed sign-in attempts temporarily lock the account. No system is perfectly secure, but we only keep what the app needs.
Adults only
Lunami is only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly allow anyone younger to use it. If you believe a minor has created an account, write to safety@lunami.world and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We will announce material changes in the app before they take effect.
